My Approach
Combining psychotherapeutic training with coaching using models such as CBT, DBT, Narrative theory, Solution and strength based theory, and IFS in a personalized and tailored approach.
Concept of Therapy
We provide a safe space where we help clients understand and manage difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. We guide individuals coping with struggles, and addressing mental health, trauma, generational patterns and past, or other issues beyond their control towards healthier functioning and symptom management.
Trauma Informed Care
We look at trauma, distressing experiences or events that have overwhelmed a person's ability to cope. I provide a safe and empathetic environment and while respecting clients’ autonomy to support their healing and resilience still promote and encourage empowerment while adjusting techniques to aid them on their journey.
Depression
Clients often seek my help for depression. Depression is a common mood disorder that can make you feel irritable, sad, empty, or hopeless for an extended period. It may cause a lack of interest in usual activities, changes in appetite or sleep patterns, and low energy.
Anxiety
I help clients understand and manage their anxiety. Anxiety is a common emotion characterized by feelings of worry, fear and overwhelm. It can manifest with physical symptoms like increased heart rate, sweaty palms, and difficulty concentrating. Mentally, it sometimes feels like your mind is working overtime and you can’t stop.
Relationship / Couples
The struggle is real in relationships, as what we see on TV and social media is often incomplete. Relationship therapy or coaching, together or alone, offers a safe space to ask important questions, clarify expectations, build skills and design an optimal relationship reality.
